I cannot wait for fall wardrobing! Considering that “more is more,” as far as dressing yourself goes, the season leaves so much room for interesting details and textures and choices. One thing I’m so excited to wear (with everything, all the time) in lieu of more predictable choices is the velvet burnout duster/kimono. There are so many amazing vintage ones and cool ones on Etsy; they can be cropped or floor sweeping, jewel-toned or neutral or black, and some have intricate beadwork… But they ALL are ethereal, elegant, and good for lending a slight mystique or edge to any outfit, whether it is jeans and a tee or a little black dress. I’m posting my favorite picks below… Do yourself a favor and invest in one, you won’t be sorry and you’ll be shocked at how much you wear it once temperatures drop.
