Social media can be a lot of things: too much information, helpful, scary, intriguing, and addicting. I’ve gotten on and off of Facebook several times, wondering what long-term psychological effects I was welcoming into my life by exposing myself to thousands of friends, exes, acquaintances–and let’s face it, strangers– on a daily basis. Occasionally, however, social media can be a blessing: when said overexposure leads to you being profoundly inspired by someone/something that you otherwise may have known nothing about. Case in point: @TheTreeKisser. Jessica, the creator of The Tree Kisser brand, donates 10% of her sales to various animal rescue and advocacy organizations; this month, proceeds go to Rancho Relaxo, a small rescue farm in South Jersey.
