Top & vegan leather skirt: from Rio Ritz boutique (469.458.3570)

Festival mini bucket bag: by Danielle Nicole Handbags

Peep-toe mules: available here

IMG_0232First things first:  I was contacted by Danielle Nicole– the designer of this awesome handbag line– herself, and was so excited to hear that her bags (which are sold at Neiman Marcus CUSP, NastyGal, Saks, Fred Siegel, Nordstrom, NeimanMarcus.com & Piperline.com) are all animal-friendly!  Not to mention, adorable.  This SXSW mini bucket bag (which is just large enough to carry your keys, cell phone, and a few other items…what else do you need in there, anyway?) was designed specially for festival season.  While this cute li’l bucket bag would pair well with cutoffs and a fringed black tee, I wanted to show y’all how versatile it is, as it works equally well with something you’d wear to work or out to dinner. (Side note:  this mini bucket bag was featured in WWD Resort Trend’s “Bucket List”… Click here to see!)

I got this sheer, slit-backed top and awesome faux leather skirt at one of my favorite local boutiques, Rio Ritz.  Neither piece is online, but it is super easy to call them and order… They are super friendly, and they ship 🙂  I love this skirt and have already worn it to work with my favorite pumps and also out with these very shoes and a funky vintage band tee.

The shoes are from Forever21 and are ON SALE! Which is awesome because that means I can buy 2 more pairs so I can wear them forever and ever.  I get compliments on them whenever I wear them; people think that they are high end, maybe Pierre Hardy…  I must admit, I love seeing the look on a person’s face when I confide that they were only $20!
