This pencil skirt by L’Agence is a dream: besides the higher-waisted slim fit (incredibly flattering), the palm tree print adds interest, and the front slit on an otherwise-professional shape adds sex appeal.  (I toned down said sex appeal with a looser, funky fringed top– but you could wear it with a cropped top or a slinky black tank for a night out.)  I love bringing a sleek, luxe-looking backpack with me to work; it’s so functional how it holds all of my things, and is more unique than a typical handbag.  Mine is sold out, but I included several similar looks above and below:
