One thing my always-put-together-looking mother instilled in me, about which she was extremely emphatic: weekend days are no excuse to wear sweatpants. Your Saturday consists of picking up your dry cleaning and buying dog food? Don’t care, check your sweats at the door before you leave the house. That being said, her daughter is a glutton for comfort. The compromise? BOYFRIEND JEANS and a fitted tee. Super comfy and easy, while channeling too-cool 90s grunge. This weekend, I wore mine around town with my go-to backpack (I had a blog-related deadline, so I needed my laptop for a Starbucks pitstop) from Nasty Gal.
