ABOUT MY BAG
I went to my mother’s house to drop River off with her before my shoot with FRiLuk, and I had my handbag in tow. She (the ULTIMATE fashionista who once worked as Neiman Marcus’ assistant) immediately said “Oh my gosh, I ADORE your bag!” It really is that good. It is so luxurious,, especially in the deep blue color. I like the oversize perforations, and the hardware made of zamak. I don’t like a bag that is a “black hole,” so I appreciate the contrasting light lining inside, as well as all of the practical compartments for your belongings. In terms of what you can’t see right away about the bag: I adore that it was ethically handmade by local artisans in Portugal, and that it contains no harmful chemicals– especially since I toss River’s bottle and paci in there when I’m on the go. The bag is lightweight but large enough to fit my laptop inside, waterproof, and fully recyclable. And I love that with my purchase, I am supporting good, ethical humans in addition to harming no animals!
