midi dress: anthropologie // vegan leather pumps: cult of coquette // eco-friendly earrings: pimelia
Have 4th of July plans which require you wearing something besides a bikini? Girl, I got you.
DRESS: This dress from Anthropologie is fun (it twirls!), flattering, and easy to throw on after a day of swimming. You can wear it with heels if you’re country clubbing, or flip flops (like these) if you’re by the lake. On me, the asymmetrical hem comes down to my lower calf/upper ankle; but if you’re taller than 5’3″ it will be a true “midi” length. I love longer dresses so I chose the “regular,” but if you are a shorty like me who wants a midi length, simply select the “petite” option. For reference, I am wearing a size small.
HEELS: One of my favorite animal-friendly shoe brands (for heels/pumps) is Cult of Coquette. They look like a classic pair you’d get at Neimans, but the materials are all vegan, and every pair is handmade. They fit true to size. Be sure and check out their patent leather-look options in fun colors, too!
EARRINGS: I was recently introduced to the eco-friendly jewelry brand Pimelia, and I love their concept and methodology! Designed and handmade in Australia, the jewelry is made from sustainably harvested Birch plywood by a lasercutter which uses 100% green power. I chose the earrings in “gold enamel,” but there are several other color options for you.
Cheers to a happy Monday!
