vegan suede skirt: nordstrom // graphic tee: pam & gela // belt: etsy
(shoes are sold out, but these are a similar option)
If you know me, you know I’m a huge fan of high quality vegan suede! I wore this outfit to D Magazine’s annual “Best Of Big D” party, and it was one of my favorite event looks to date… But I think it’s also a cute office look with a blazer, or a fun “out to dinner” outfit!
I’m truly in luuuuuv with the faux suede skirt. The rust/dark mustard color is on trend, and its a great piece that can be easily transitioned into fall. I cinched in the waist with a double buckle belt (I was determined to find a vegan leather one, and was so happy to spot this one on Etsy!). I like how the hardware isn’t too shiny, which can look cheap, and instead look legitimately vintage. The Pam & Gela graphic tee on top adds a major punch. Because of the higher price point, I did what I always do when I really want something: I rationalized it by thinking of all the ways I can wear it in the future! I can pair the shirt in a couple of weeks with some white shorts, or with a blazer at work, maybe with a jean jacket and this skirt again in the fall, and definitely with black skinny jeans + my black vegan leather jacket in the winter… Done.
