Springtime is here! Which means that my propensity for breezy dresses and brighter hues is at an all-time high. I was so excited when I put on this vintage-inspired dress from Shabby Apple; it is girly but funky, and is flattering while accentuating a woman’s curves. On my way out the door to work, Matt (my boyfriend, who actually has a great eye for aesthetics in general) stopped me and said “hey. I really love that dress on you.” I think it’s because the vintage-fit is sexy, but the tie-neck adds a demure touch.
Everyone knows I love a good “matchy-matchy” moment done right; i.e.- when the effect is bold & monochrome, as opposed to trite/trying too hard. My favorite mirrored Ray Bans and my cobalt platform pumps paired perfectly with the teal and blue checks on the dress.
