Hey everyone! Got a post for all my fellow mamas today.
As many of you know, I am a fan of cloth diapering. I do it for the planet. (I know I’ve said this before in an earlier blog post, but on average one baby will produce 7,300 dirty plastic diapers which will just sit on our earth for the next 500 years without breaking down!!! HORRIBLE.) But you may not know that the truth is, I cloth diaper about 60% of the time. When you travel/have them in an outfit that wont allow for the major fluff/are trying to teach them to sit (I’ve found that the fluffy bottom makes them topple over)/when you’re out with your baby running errands all day, etc. etc… Even the most eco-friendly of mamas might want to consider having a stash of eco-friendly disposable diapers on hand. Moreover, so many people live in apartments, especially in places like New York or LA, without a good, private washer and dryer.
This is where DYPER is a lifesaver!!! Natural, biodegradable, soft, absorbant, anti-bacterial, compostable. They are made to biodegrade much more quickly than most of the other natural brands out there, and up to 500 years faster than traditional brands (pleaseeee don’t use plastic mainstream diapers! It’s a nightmare for the earth, and they have all sorts of unhealthy crap in them.) Speaking of health… Made of bamboo, Dyper contains NO chlorine, latex, alcohol, perfumes, PVC, lotions, TBT or Phthalates, so its a healthy option for your babe. I love that there is no ink or dye involved, since the diapers have no prints (which I think is less tacky looking, anyway. But thats just me!).
Dyper is a subscription service, and you get major savings by opting in. You can tailor the amount of diapers delivered per month to suit your baby and your lifestyle; typically this is between 4 and 6 diapers per day (these bamboo diapers are super, super absorbent and will make for longer and totally comfortable wearing period between your baby’s changes).
Check out Dyper and PLEASE keep the earth, which our children are inheriting from us, in mind when choosing your method of diapering. As usual, love you guys for caring and listening! XOXO
