You know what is infinitely flattering, but is randomly hard to find? The vertical pinstripe maxi dress. I love this one from Rio Ritz (fyi: this was a size small; call 469-458-3570 to order; they’ll ship!). I oftentimes like layering my black velvet choker (only $16) with longer necklaces… this time, I paired it with my new very favorite from Barse Jewelry… The carnelian stone (member of the quartz family, for all of my fellow “rock nerds” and hippies out there) is the prettiest orange hue and is said to promote stability and courage. Finally, my vegan leather backpack is the perfect size for toting around daytime essentials (book, iPad, camera, phone, wallet). I’m warning you… Be ready to receive a crazy amount of effusive compliments on this bag.
