Whether you consider it to be “you” or so not: Tulle is having a moment.
I wore this stunner from Rent The Runway to a friend’s gorgeous Orange County wedding this past weekend, and can’t begin to tell you how many compliments I got; everyone from 16-year-old girls to 60-year-old gay men to my 30-year-old boyfriend loved it! Plus, I felt very “Black Swan” (aside from those moments when I was doing the Macarena).
Tulle isn’t simply reserved for occasion frocks, however; you can have your “Carrie Bradshaw moment” at a Wednesday afternoon happy hour, if you’d like. For instance: you can pair a full tulle skirt with a chambray or plaid button down for a girly tomboy look; feel free to rock a high-waisted tulle skirt with a destroyed top and moto boots for an edgier look; or, wear your tulle with a concert tee and some wedges to just look like the coolest human alive.
